As 2021 comes to an end I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
Thank you for all of your hard work, commitment and invaluable contributions to Wayne Tomorrow! Our collective efforts continue to yield opportunities for all of Wayne County.
Despite the challenges and uncertainties that seem to be around every corner, the Wayne Tomorrow! approach has allowed our community to learn, adapt and continue to improve. With that comes strategic refinement. Although Wayne Tomorrow! is not an entity, it is an approach, an eco-system and a way of operating. I know without a doubt anyone who is part of this collaboration can reach out for assistance, expertise or a few words of encouragement and would be just as likely to offer them.
As we begin the New Year, I look forward to some changes and progress, but certainly not perfection. Following today’s meeting, the first Friday of the month sessions will now meet under the title of “WT! Community Impact Network”.
Through this Network, the Wayne Tomorrow! ecosystem and all our partners have the ability to share ideas, offer expertise or assistance with collaborative projects, and share with others all of the opportunities that continue to develop as a result of this collaborative approach.
We go into 2022 focusing on continuous communication by meeting on the first Friday of every month, sharing WT! highlights and progress through social media and reaching a broader audience through Constant Contact rather than a traditional newsletter.
As always, I am also available via email and phone or you are welcome to stop by my office any time.
Again, I express my sincere appreciation and wish everyone a Happy New Year.
