Located at the Wayne County Park Street Complex in Honesdale, it is a community project contributing to by a broad network of stakeholders. The training Kitchen and Café is open to the public and serves as a light breakfast and lunch café, is open Monday through Friday and allows youth and those with disabilities or others with barriers to employment the opportunity to learn pre-employment skills, receive food safety training and participate and give back to their community.

The Park Street Kitchen and Café was made possible through the support of Wayne County, the Wayne County Employment Coalition, Wayne County Human Services, Wayne County Area Agency on Aging, Wayne County Bar Association and community participation and support providers.
Supporting Local Farmers
The Park Street Kitchen and Café supports local farmers by purchasing local produce and is available to cater meals for large and small group meetings or training. The Wayne County Area Agency on Aging also offers their Nutritional Meal Program there as well to those over the age of 60 working at or doing business at the Wayne County Park Street Complex.
