Agriculture Education in Schools
Wayne Tomorrow! assisted in reintroducing agricultural education into the local school district curricula, with educators hired to begin the program in the 2017 to 2018 school year.

Agriculture Innovation Center
The Agriculture Innovation Center would provide a hub for the Wayne County Food Pantry Program, making it easier to incorporate fresh, local foods. The facility would incorporate spaces for education, aggregation, processing possibly a farm market and more.

Community Hubs
Wayne Tomorrow! seeks to develop hubs within the geographic areas of the County where residents and visitors can meet, share, have social and educational activities. They should include all age groups, safe places for young and old, and help create a sense of community and opportunity.

Dairy Processing Feasibility Study
Wayne County received a grant from the US Department of Agriculture to conduct a study of the feasibility of a dairy processing facility to be located within the county, as recommended by the Wayne County Agricultural Development Plan.

Emergency Food Relief Program
Relying heavily on the collaboration fostered through WayneTomorrow! the community organized, funded and administered an emergency relief program that fed nearly 2,000 families over a four-week period from April through May.

Project SEARCH
Wayne Memorial Hospital, the three local school districts and the County Office of Behavioral and Developmental Programs came together to create a Project SEARCH Program to provide expanded opportunities for meaningful employment for special needs students.

Solar Array at Stourbridge Project
Working with the Clean Energy Cooperative, the Wayne County Commissioners have proposed a solar power project on the roof of the Stourbridge Project, which will include an educational kiosk about sustainable energy and this project in particular.

Wayne Memorial Hospital Food Prescription Program
As part of its effort to reduce hospital admissions as part of the PA Rural Health Model, Wayne Memorial creates a fresh food prescription for chronic disease like diabetes and congestive heart failure.

Wayne Pike Trails & Waterways Alliance Project
Wayne Tomorrow! assisted with the launch of a grassroots effort to develop the riverfront in Honesdale Borough. The collaboration has grown to encompass and rails and trails project to Hawley and beyond.

The Wayne County Community Foundation created the Wayne Tomorrow! Fund to help raise money in the community to support important projects undertaken by this county-sponsored, community-based strategic initiative.
